Our once-in-a-lifetime Grizzly Bear tour includes a spectacular 2 hour boat ride to the Khutzeymateen.

Tour Details

There is nothing quite like a gentle day in the outdoors, observing wild creatures as they roam freely in their natural habitat. Join us for a trip to secluded North Coast inlets to observe Grizzly and Black Bears in their natural environment from the guided safety and comfort of an unobtrusive boat cruising close to the shoreline.

The bears come to the freshwater streams to graze on sedges. Here, you may quietly watch the bears as they sate their appetites and play with their young on the rocky shores. If you are lucky, you may catch a glimpse of a mother teaching her cubs how to find mussels and other sea treats along the beach.

Over the years Greg has become well acquainted with two Bald Eagles who nest near the lodge. Depending on the season, you will be able to see them dive down for fish when he calls them over to the boat. Or witness Killer Whales feeding in the deep waters as we explore.
