Palmerville Adventures | Three Day Grizzly Bear Tour
For visitors who want to spend a little longer in the Khutzeymateen we have put together a package so that guests have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the majestic scenery and observe the bears at leisure. While at the lodge guests can try their hand at fishing
and they can enjoy fresh crab, prawns, and a variety of bottom fish.
Itinerary

Guests depart from Prince Rupert BC, for the Khutzeymateen at 10am. Once arrived you have the opportunity to get organised and relax before lunch.
After lunch guests are taken on a 2/3 hour Grizzly Bear tour.
Whilst on the tour they may also see seals, bald eagles and if they are lucky a wolf or two.
After the tour guests can relax by the fire, take out the kayaks for a paddle, fish for dinner or enjoy our wood fired sauna.
Fishing gear is supplied but you will need to bring a one day fishing license with you.

An early start at the camp for a morning Grizzly Bear tour. Guests will also be taken to the BC Parks ranger station to meet the First Nation rangers, learn about the history of the Khutzeymateen see how the Khutzeymateen Sanctuary is managed.
After the tour guest can enjoy lunch on the dock and again take advantage of the rowing boats or fishing rods. |

On the third day we visit a saltwater volcano. There is one more grizzly tour, then lunch. After their lunch guests will travel either by boat or seaplane back to Prince Rupert. The boat trip is a very scenic ride with the chances of seeing humpback and killer whales. Trip is approximately two hour.

Sleeping arrangements
Accommodation is within the float house on bunk beds or in the loft. We can also supply tents and mats for those who would like to camp on the dock. Bedding is provided. |
