Grizzly Bear Tours - Our Grizzly Bear Tours offer a once in a lifetime wilderness nature adventure into the Khutzeymateen Inlet, Valley of the Grizzly Bear, near Prince Rupert, British Columbia and approximately
10 miles from the Alaskan border.
Palmerville Adventures is the only floating lodge that does Grizzly Bear Tours in the Khutzeymateen.
Our Three Hour Tour or 3 Day Overnight Tour include a spectacular float plane ride to the pristine Khutzeymateen Valley, home of Canada's only grizzly bear sanctuary. This trip is a professional or amateur photographers dream come true with some of the best grizzly bear viewing in the world. Your photography and sightseeing adventure also includes the possibility of viewing black bears, whales, seals, mountain goats, wolves, deer, sea otters, bald eagles and schools of Pacific wild salmon as we travel through the glorious coastal rainforest.
Thinking about having your honeymoon or wedding in the wilderness? We've had couples get married in the bush, come here for their honeymoons and even propose to their partners while at Palmerville Adventures.
During our busy May to September 2008 season 97% of our tours saw grizzly bears. Be sure to book early to ensure your place on a grizzly bear tour.
As seen on TV
Palmerville Adventures has featured on The Great Outdoors and Today Show in Australia and is currently showing on the Animal Planet twice a week called 'Nikon Wildlife Expeditions with Mark Pendlington'. In addition, Jeff Turner stayed with us while making Grizzly Face-to-Face which was used by the BBC. |

Our unique floating lodge in the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Reserve
gives you an intimate view into the world of these incredible animals. Guests are able to view Grizzlies, seals, sea otters, eagles and waterfowl right from the lodge or up close in their kayak.
A fascinating and awe-inspiring experience. Fantastic scenery with amazing views of bears in their natural habitat. We enjoyed our visit enormously- thank you very much!
